Senator Myrie visits Brooklyn Ascend High School

October 30, 2021

Principal Livia Angiolillo and CEO Recy Dunn welcomed New York State Senator Zellnor Myrie at Brooklyn Ascend High School on October 29. Senator Myrie spoke with AP US History students about growing up in Flatbush and the importance of pre-registering to vote when they are 16. He reminded our high school scholars how their vote can directly impact the availability of economic opportunity, affordable housing, and education across Brooklyn. Thank you, Senator Myrie, for reminding our scholars to give back and dream big.
