Ascend students meet Governor Hochul to promote the vaccine

Yesterday, Ascend primary school students joined Governor Kathy Hochul and Lieutenant Governor Brian Benjamin at the Barclays Center to encourage parents to vaccinate their children ages 5-11. “We will not take our eye off the ball,” said Govenor Hochul.

The FDA has approved the Pfizer-BioNTech Covid-19 vaccine for children ages 5-11. Parents will be able to go to vaccines.gov and filter for vaccines for children 5-11 to find vaccine locations.
